Greenies Cup 2026 – Registrations

We are excited to annouce that registrations for the Greenies Cup 2026 are now open.

The Greenies Cup, now in its 12th year is held at Greenway Park, Cherrybrook over the October Long Weekend and is hosted by the Greenway Giants Baseball Club. Competition divisions are for players League Age 8 to 14

Juniors Division (7 Game Schedule)
4 Day Competition – Friday, 2 October to Monday, 5 October 2026
12’s Majors and 12’s Minors (6 Game Schedule)
3 Day Competition – Saturday, 3 October to Monday, 5 October 2026

Greenies Cup Terms and Conditions of Entry

By completing and submitting this form, the abovenamed authorised team contact accepts the Tournament entry terms and conditions as follows:

  1. The Greenies Cup 2026 will be played using the Greenies Cup Rules in conjunction with Baseball Australia preferred rules for junior baseball in Australia as developed and published each year by Little League International.
  2. A timed game format will be adopted in all divisions.
  3. Game balls will be provided by the Tournament Director.
  4. Team Roster size must be a maximum of 14 age eligible players.
  5. To be eligible, players must be registered to play baseball in Australia for season 2026/27 with an affiliated Club at the time of the Tournament.  Non-Australian based team must be similarly registered with their National Affiliate at the time of the Tournament.
  6. Teams are NOT required to bring an Umpire with them to the Tournament however if a team has an Umpire they would like to nominate this should be done to info@sydneydiamondsports.com.au prior to the Tournament
  7. Teams are required to nominate a Player Roster no later than 1 week prior to the Tournament.
  8. Team are required to supply a Scorer for each team entered into the Tournament.
  9. The Head Coach of each team must have successfully completed the ASC Beginning Coaches General Principles Course as a minimum – recommended to hold a Level B or higher Baseball Australia Coaching Accreditation.
  10. All team staff 18 years and over must have valid working with children clearances including Scorer and nominated Umpire.
  11. Any team withdrawing from the Tournament prior to commencement will incur a $50 processing fee.
  12. Should the Tournament be fully washed out all Entry Fees will be refunded to teams less a pro-rata share of committed Tournament expenses.
  13. Team rosters and photographs may be published on our website, program, GameChanger and social media.  Games may also be live streamed.
  14. Team entry is not guaranteed until Entry Fee payment is received.
  15. All participants including spectators must adhere to any Tournament, Council and host Club policies.
  16. The Tournament Director has the right to reject any registrations.
